Apple week!

Least week of September!

We sorted our snack, some buttons onto trees, and made legos into numbers!

This week we are also celebrating JOHNNY Appleseed.  We read some books about him and Ms Margo baked us apple and pumpkin seed muffins for snack.

Our second week of school!

Things are going very smoothly.  Everyone is now comfortable in our routine and doing great.  We are focusing on sharing, letters, numbers and colors!

Today, we talked about the number 2 and we traced the first letter of our names with our fingers.  In paint!

We also went outside and got to play a little soccer.  Ms Margo brought some soccer balls and goals from her home and we all had a good run.

Fun fact:  Ms Margo’s son (Indiana Vassilev) plays professional soccer in England for Aston Villa.  So she brought Indy’s old pop up goals for us to use!  The class really enjoyed that. ⚽️🥅

We had a great first week!

We finished our first week by painting the number 1, and we made lots of things with birds.  We painted an Eagle with our hands and we built bird nests in our individual sensory boxes.

See you all on Monday!

September 10!

Everyone is learning the classroom rules and doing GREAT!Today. We put bandaids on the letter B.  We talked about all kinds of words that begin with B like bandaid and boo-boo.  We also pretended to be Veterinarians and put lots of bandaids on our puppies.

At the table this morning we looked at lots of seashells and plastic sea creatures!

A few smiling first day pics from our class!

 Welcome back to school!

We had a wonderful morning with very few tears.

Today we read the story The Kissing Hand and we made kisses in a hand for our moms.  We also talked about school rules, played on the “big kid” playground! Yay!  We also worked on our calendars which will come home tomorrow.

It was a good day!
