Welcome October!

This week we are all about fall.  We are learning Halloween songs, painting pumpkins to decorate our classroom, and playing with fall themed items.  We used Q tips to paint fall trees and buttons to decorate mats at our morning sorting work.

Ming comes to visit!

Mrs Bailey brought her kitten Ming for a class visit.  We all got to pet her, talk about caring for animals, and watched her play with some ribbons and balls.

We worked hard today making American flags, red, white and blue necklaces, and we listened to patriotic kids music.🇺🇸

We are enjoying busy days getting to know each other!

Welcome to Mrs. Heebner and Mrs. Bailey’s class!

We are off to a great start.  This week we have begun talking about shapes, our names, and colors.  Today we made paper cupcakes with out birthdays on them and played with some pretend “ice cream” complete with sprinkles.  We will be continuing to learn the class rules and work hard on our names and colors.
