Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all our families from Mrs Heebner and Mrs Bailey!  Enjoy your week.

November

This week we read books about the Pilgrims and Indians, worked on our costumes and songs and on Friday we made home made butter and ate it on biscuits.  We talked about how the Pilgrims made all their food and grew their crops.

It’s almost Halloween!

This week we learned about bats, what they eat, how they sleep, and we made bats on sticks.  We also read the book Leaf Man and made our own leaf men and women.  We also had fun playing with all the Halloween items for a few more days.

We enjoyed having the fire truck and firemen come to visit.  All week we did fire safety related projects, read books about firemen and how they are here to help us and not be scary.  Most of the class enjoyed climbing through the truck and looking at all the equipment.
