January 2020!

Welcome back to WIPP.  We hit the ground running this morning and it feels good to be back.  We are joined by 2 new friends in class.  We played with snowmen, Frozen characters and talked about what Santa brought to us on Christmas.  We also switched to last names and had a lot of success recognizing those already.

Last week before Christmas!

Remember that this Thursday will be our class Christmas party followed by our program on Friday.  It is sure to be a fun and busy week!

Our little ones did a great job singing-  Happy Thanksgiving to all of our families!

We love the new playground!  We have had some perfect sunny days to enjoy it this week.

November is off to a fun start!  We have had a visit by baby animals from Oatland Island and we have been learning about germs and hand washing!

Fun activities continue this month as we get ready for Halloween.  We made leaf people, and today we visited the pumpkin patch and each “picked” a pumpkin.  We decorated our pumpkins with silly face stickers.

Hello October!

The weather may still be summer like but we were all things fall this week.  We finger painted red and yellow to make pumpkins and when they were dry we added jack-o-lantern faces.  We made faces with stencils, counted spiders in our morning circle time and made pumpkins with faces that we then listed what emotion they had.
