This week we read the book “Penguins, Penguins Everywhere” and learned all about Penguins, where they live, what they eat, and what eats THEM.  We also colored our own penguins and sprayed the page with water.  Water doesn’t stick to the waxy crayon drawing just like it doesn’t stick to a penguin’s waxy feathers.

We also read the book “The Mitten” about animals hiding in a mitten in the snow.  We glued animals into a mitten and painted fluffy snow made with glue and shaving cream all around our mittens.
